Since taking over, Marissa Mayers first year has been quite eventful. She commenced with the purchase of over twenty (20) small ICT based companies, a strategic decision driven by the need to diversify Yahoos product range. Her ability to cut a problem, identify alternative solutions, and settling on the best alternative solution to the problem attests to Marissas exceptional transformational leadership traits.
